             In my first few journals, I’d mentioned my favourite on K-pop. (Koreanboy bands, girl bands, superstar, and manymore..) so it will be the topic fortoday’s journal on how can I link those K-popmania to IT.

                At first, I don’t like those K-pop atall, or can say that I hate them! but the one who can change my mind is one ofmy friend. She tried to change my mind by giving me some Comedy Korean Varietyshows, Music Videos, and some other live performances of those Korean Singers.One day, I found that those Korean boy bands and girl bands can dance and singvery well comparing to some bands in Thailand so, I start addicted to it.    ( I’m the person who values high performancethings & persons, I perceived those K-pop as valuable singers that isshould be, not those who sell only beauty and handsome looks, not performance.That’s why I changed my mind easily.) 

                  After I addicted to thoseK-pop, waiting for the files from my friend became frustration. I didn’t want to wait for my friends to load thoseKorean shows, MV, and lives, and then take it to me after she watched thosefiles. Consequently, I started using High speed Internet at my home to searchfor the sources of the files by myself. I search through many Thai web sites and also other countries’ websites. If I don’t wrongly remember, I search in Korean, Spain, Austria, andmany more countries’ sites, and then register for members. ( I tried a lot atthat time, using on-line dictionary to translate words by words which was very confusingand difficult.)

                  I didn’t stop my effort onlythat, after I’ve found sources for my desire files, I’m not pleased with onlywatching those files on my computer. I started studying how to put it ontohigh-quality DVD so I can let my mother, father, and my relatives watching ittogether on wide-screen television. In addition, I’ve found that the files willgrow more over and over when I loaded more and more files everyday. The Harddiskstorage on my computer wasn’t enough and I need to buy some more external &portable harddisk. ( now, I have 2 of them, one for 100 GB storage whileanother 320 GB storage.)

                   You can see that I can linkK-popmania with IT harmony. I didn’t only waste my time on something uselessly,but I can gain many useful knowledge from it. It may seem to be so nonsense inmany persons’ point of view, but for me, I would never perceive anything thatcomes into my life as nonsensical thing. Everything can give us many benefits,as I can gain knowledge of how to search and get those hard-to-find information,I know how to make my own quality DVDs, I also get some Korean and otherlanguages, I found it relax and entertain me & my family, and  many more without losing my existing activities,realationship, and way of life. ( My Grades in high school & University arealso stable, never decrease from doing things like these.)

                  Infirst 2 topics of my IT journal, I’ve already mentioned about How IT absorbed into my life, and my experience of IT through mobile phone. This time, we’ll go further to the IT experience in my AU life.

                  Assumption University is one of high-technology University in my opinion, due to much use of IT in every subject. For in stance, Communication in Thai, Science, human, and his environment,Statistic, Finance, Principle of Management and marketing, even though English subject!!, and  many more.

                  I can remember the first subject that most required the use of IT ; Communication in Thai. First thing to be done is the enrollment into the course through lms.au.edu web site which may be a little bit complex if you don’t understand how to do and not always use computer. ( This idea is through cause I can prove it with numbers offriends asked me to register the course for them!) Not only that, We need to submit a lot of homework by uploading in web forums, and the only way to contact our teacher was through the web site. Also, this subject required the use of PowerPoint Presentation for class works.

                   The second subject would be Science, Human, and his environment. I could remember how tired I was at the time. I would say that I can make a PowerPoint presentation but only for short and informal presentation at that time. (because I wasn’t always use PowerPoint Program when I was in high school, I used Visual basic and Authorware program more often so, I wasn’t so familiar with PowerPoint presentation so much.) This subject was the first subject that push me to be capable of working on Formal and long PowerPoint presentation!  It could be one step further for my IT experience in AU. 

                    After those 2 subjects, my IT experience in AU improve more and more each day and semester such as Principle of Management and marketing that required a lot of IT use and presentation, and Money, Banking, and financial assets is also one example of subjects that is needed to enroll the course on line.

                     But!!!! The most diversified-in-activities subject that helps improve my IT using a lot is English I & II subject!! It sound weird but it’s through!  I had studied English I&II subject with the same teacher.(How lucky I was ^^) He always assigned very diversified listening & speaking  activities to students, and one work assigned was The Video work. Because I’d studied with him 2 times, so I’ve got this assignment 2 times too.( Final project for English I & II = 2 times) Firstly, I’ve never used such video cutting program before, but I must can do it at that time because no one else can do it. (so why be me?  - -“) the situation forced me to be able to use the program, and my experience on Movie Maker program improve everytime I do it, including IT Video Project.^^

                       I’m so sorry to write it so long and disturb your time, but I want to share only complete experience so, I can also review and memorize it as a part of my life.. Those IT experience in Assumption University will never be ended, cause I believe that we can improve our experience and knowledge more and more as we grow up and learn more! 

After we've presented our Poster about "How IT help reduces Global Warming?", I assigned my friend to contact the student affair, so we can stick our poster within AU campus.

At that time, we have a lot of holiday, Christmas and New Year day, and continuously with mid-term exam, so we cannot progress the work up until a week before. we are so sorry for our late work.

Now, we got an allowance to stick the poster, but not so long time, and the place may be quite strange.

However, we need to follow the student affair's requirement.
